Why Talking Roadmaps?

Together with Justin Woods, my co-host and co-creator, we have started Talking Roadmaps for a simple reason: To explore the craft of roadmapping.

As a product person roadmaps are a key tool that we use to deliver great products. Justin is also a highly experienced product person and roadmapping expert who takes the tool to a wider audience. But this is not about us and our experience. Talking Roadmaps is all about hearing from industry experts, practitioners and thought leaders to bring together their collective knowledge.

We are starting with a 1-2-1 discussion format but who knows where we will evolve things to. We have some many people lined up - with a number of well known faces in the industry already on the list.

In then next few weeks we will publish the first two episodes to YouTube as well as here on this blog. These are our MVPs, where we interview each other. We will also give you blogs and sketchnotes that bring out the most interesting points. If you prefer to listen we also plan to publish the discussions as podcasts as well. No matter how you prefer to consume the insights we should have you covered!

Some of the discussions will be unapologetically long - but that is because they are full of so many valuable insights that we simply won’t want to cut things out.

We look forward to mapping out your journey in roadmapping to help you take it to the next level!
