For the last 12 years principal and owner of Ron Lichty Consulting, Inc., he takes on fractional Interim VP Engineering roles, trains and coaches teams and executives to be more effectively agile, and coaches leaders in managing software people and teams to make their software development “hum.” Ron's 500-page book, "Managing the Unmanageable: Rules, Tools, and Insights for Managing Software People and Teams,", coauthored with Mickey Mantle and published by Addison Wesley, is now in its second edition, and has been translated into four languages. Ron also coauthors The Study of Product Team Performance and blogs about managing software people and teams.
